Elevate your weeknight dishes with these cozy, cold-weather favorites

We’re heading into the cold winter months, so we’ve curated a list of purposefully simple and warming recipes to keep your weeknights carefree and cozy!
1. Orecciette with Truffle, Porcini, Kale and Pine Nuts
Orecchiette translates to “little ears” in Italian, and they are the perfect pasta shape for our Artisan Ingredients® Truffle, Porcini and Cream Marinara. Quick and easy, it’s perfect for a weeknight meal, while still being rich and satisfying. Add some kale and pine nuts and you have yourself a new go-to pasta recipe. The secret to this sauce is the white truffle oil matched with earthy porcini mushrooms for a flavor that will transport you to winter in Milan!
Cioppino is an Italian-American seafood stew originating in San Francisco and typically made with seven types of seafood. We enlivened this classic with one of our Mezzetta® Spicy Marinara Sauces. Make sure you serve it with a loaf of freshly baked French or sourdough bread— perfect for soaking up all the delicious broth!
Red wine gives these juicy meatballs a deep, fruity flavor, while paying homage to Mezzetta’s® roots in the beautiful Napa Valley! This recipe makes a large batch of meatballs so you can enjoy them any day of the week or freeze them for a later use. Pair with red wine and serve over polenta, spaghetti or on a sandwich roll for a delicious meatball sandwich.
This recipe cooks all day in the slow cooker and comes together in minutes before serving. Full of flavor, this tender roast is delicious served over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, or even in tacos and sandwiches! It’s a hearty, versatile recipe sure to please the whole family.
5. Moroccan Spiced Lamb Chops with Couscous Salad
Warm and fragrantly spiced lamb chops are served over a delectable Israeli couscous salad for a perfectly elegant winter meal. Incorporating our Julienne Cut Sun-Ripened Dried Tomatoes and our Colossal Castelvetrano Style Pitted Olives, this dish delivers a taste of Morocco whether the lamb chops are grilled or skillet-cooked.
