This Holiday Antipasto Wreath is the perfect appetizer to serve at your next holiday gathering! Skewers of tomato, salumi, mozzarella, fresh basil and an assortment of Mezzetta® products are shaped into a wreath and adorned with sprigs of fresh rosemary for an extra festive flare.
- 15 to 20 6 inch wooden skewers
- 15 to 20 cherry tomatoes
- 15 to 20 small mozzarella balls known as Ciliegene
- 15 to 20 slices salami
- 15 to 20 Golden Greek Peperoncini
- 15 to 20 Marinated Artichoke Hearts
- 15 to 20 Italian Gorgonzola Stuffed Castelvetrano Olives
- 15 to 20 Super Colossal Spanish Queen Olives Pimiento Stuffed
- 15 to 20 Pitted Greek Kalamata Olives
- Fresh rosemary or thyme sprigs for garnish
Instructions
1. On each skewer and in varying order, add 1 cherry tomato, 1 mozzarella ball, 1 folded slice of salami, 1 Mezzetta® Golden Greek Peperoncini, 1 Mezzetta® Marinated Artichoke Heart, 1 Mezzetta® Italian Gorgonzola Stuffed Castelvetrano Style Olive, 1 Mezzetta® Imported Colossal Spanish Queen Olives and 1 Mezzetta® Pitted Greek Kalamata Olive. Continue until you have 15-20 skewers total, depending on the size of your serving platter.
2. Place each skewer on a large round platter in the shape of a wreath and garnish with sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme between each skewer. Place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
