Mezzetta® Bloody Mary
You might not think to use it, but our Artisan Ingredients® Spicy Italian Plum Tomato Marinara makes the perfect base for a spicy Bloody Mary. The Calabrian chili peppers used in this sauce have the perfect amount of piquant spice, to give your drink an extra savory kick. Get creative with your skewer by using a combination of your favorite Mezzetta products!
- 1 cup Artisan Ingredients® Spicy Italian Plum Tomato Marinara
- 2 dashes vinegar based hot sauce
- 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
- 1 lemon juiced
- 2 tablespoons Super Colossal Spanish Queen Olives Pimiento Stuffed brine
- 3 ounces vodka, gin or tequila divided
- Celery stalks to garnish
- A skewer of your favorite Mezzetta® olives and peppers, to garnish
- To a blender, add the Artisan Ingredients® Spicy Italian Plum Tomato Marinara, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, lemon juice and Mezzetta® Super Colossal Spanish Queen Olive brine and blend on high speed until smooth.
- Fill 2 tall glasses with ice and add 1 ½ ounces (3 tablespoons) of preferred liquor to each glass. Top with the Bloody Mary mix and garnish each glass with a celery stick and skewer of your favorite Mezzetta® olives and peppers.
