- 1-1/2 lbs. ripe avocado
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1/3 c. Mezzetta® Tamed Sliced Jalapeno Peppers, diced
- 1 Tbsp. Mezzetta® California Habanero Salsa
- 4 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. Cotija Mexican cheese, crumbled
- Cilanto sprigs, optional

Peel and pit avocados combine with tomato.
Add Mezzetta Tamed Sliced Jalapeno Peppers. Add Mezzetta California Habanero Salsa, lemon juice, cumin, salt and pepper to taste.
Coarsely mash with a fork or beat with a mixer. Garnish with Cotija cheese and cilantro (if desired).
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips for an appetizer or to top your favorite Mexican food, also good on hamburgers!
