Mango Habanero Salsa

  • 1/8 cup plus 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup white onion, diced
  • 6 ripe mangos, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 tsp tamarind paste
  • 1 habanero pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup Mezzetta® Sliced Tamed Jalapeño Peppers chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt


In a pan, sauté the onion in the olive oil. Cool the onions. Add the diced mango and remaining ingredients. Puree mixture until smooth.

Serve as an appetizer with tortilla chips or alongside your barbecue favorites.
